IMO while you can dual-tank the minnie assault it's better to make to make it fast. Reactive plates, while they don't give as much armor don't slow you down as much. (Wow. Such english. Very good.) True Speed is important, more the reason to put a kincatmover an extra plate at proto. While I often use the extra high for a range amplifier (which I'll probably swap for a damage modifier).
